I am a single mom and substitute teacher living somewhere in Tornado Alley.

I gave up drawing years ago in high school because I didn't have enough confidence in my abilities. I was a shy mouse.

In the fall of 2007, I started re-learning how to draw and reminding myself that it's my art, not anyone else's. My journey not theirs.

Bear with me. I don't remember much of what I learned in art class so much of my skill, or lack of, is self taught or done with some coaching from my online artist friends. They're awesome!

I hope you enjoy the journey with me!
